Further afield, well 6 miles to be precise, you'll find the splendid Ethicurean restaurant, terrific food served in a rather ramshackle former orangery, set within a magnificent walled garden with views over The Mendips to die for. http://www.theethicurean.com
Bristol has long enjoyed a reputation as having one of the best food scenes in the UK, I couldn't list them all here but a couple of my favourites are The Bristol Lido https://www.lidobristol.com. Where else can you take a dip, steam, sauna, get a massage, eat and drink whatever the weather, and the food and drink is always superb and I highly recommend.

Accessibility -
The Den is a loft apartment situated on the top floor, there are 36 stairs up to The Den, therefore the property will not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
Arrival and departure -
Check in is available from 3pm to 7pm on the day of arrival. Check in times outside of those specified must be confirmed with us prior to arrival. Please note I cannot accommodate check ins after 9pm.
We ask that you please vacate your room by 11.00am on the morning of departure.
Cancellation policy -
The Den has a strict cancellation policy. Less than 7 days notice your booking is non refundable and non transferable. We advise guests to take out adequate insurance in case of any unforeseen circumstances resulting in last minute cancellations.
Breakfast -
Breakfast is a leisurely affair taken in the privacy of your room. You will find cereal, milk and fruit juice in your fridge and I provide a cooked breakfast between the hours of 8am and 10.30am
